If you spend your working hours dreaming about how you can work a little more magic into your career, we might just have the answer.

Pottermore, the website which calls itself ‘the digital heart of J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world’, is looking for writers to join its team.

Yes that’s right, if you ever dreamed of making money out of your obsession with all things Potter, this might just be the answer.

Endorsed by the real life minister of magic herself, J.K. Rowling, Pottermore is the most extensive Harry Potter fan site in the world, covering ‘everything from the latest news across the brand to in-depth features on existing canon and characters’.

However, it’ll take more than just excellent Harry Potter knowledge in order to get the job – you also have to be a skilled writer. On top of this, the London-based position also has three further requirements: •An eye for a good story •A passion for in-depth analysis and research •Strong working knowledge of the Harry Potter stories

So if you think you can tell your bezoars from your boggarts and know how many sickles are in a galleon, this might just be the perfect job for you.

Unfortunately, you might now have missed your chance. Despite the application process being scheduled to close beginning of September, the advert on Gorkana now seems to have been taken down early (probably down to being ridiculously over-subscribed, we reckon).
