Because what's better than one celebrity on a red carpet?

Attending our S.O’s work party night out involves heading to a conference centre ballroom in a dress which we’ve long-had designs on throwing out, doing our own (decidedly chipped) manicure in the car there and the putting on a slick of lipstick in a bid to look ‘glamorous’ – or something.

But for the A-list, a work night out is slightly different.

Think red carpet glamour, beaucoup de champagne, and if they’re lucky, a love-in with a little man called Oscar at the end of the night.

We may still be cringing following the moment that La La Land was mistakenly announced as the Best Motion Picture winner but we're going to try and stop reliving that beyond awkward moment in our heads in order to appreciate how gorgeous the A-listers looked.

Hollywood’s biggest couples came out in force for the Oscars this year, with everyone from Chrissie Teigen to Jessica Biel making full use of their plus 1 invitations and dragging out their other halves. And some of them even used their time on the red carpet to make sure the Oscars 2017 turned political.

However, Dev Patel bucked the trend and brought the cutest date to the Oscars - and it has made us love him even more.

Take a look at the cutest, coolest celebrity couples on the Oscars 2017 red carpet right here.
