We all deserve a pick-me-up this month, and Instant Family is just the ticket
It’s January, it’s cold, the month feels like it’s never-ending and we’re all feeling groggy. So what’s the solution? A trip to the cinema for a big helping of comedy gold.
From the writer and director of Daddy’s Home and Daddy’s Home 2 comes Instant Family, the story of a successful couple who decide it’s time to start a family. Before they know it, they’ve adopted three unruly kids who turn their organised lives upside down. It’s chaotic, charming and the perfect remedy to the January blues.
If you’re a Mark Wahlberg fan, you’re in luck. The Ted actor takes the reins of this feel-good film alongside the brilliant Rose Byrne, known for her breakthrough roles in Bridesmaids and Get Him To The Greek. Together, they’re a comedy match made in heaven. You’ll also recognise temperamental teenager Lizzie as Nickelodeon star Isabella Moner of 100 Things To Do Before High School and Transformers: The Last Knight fame.
But before you pass it off as yet another slapstick offering, know that this movie will make you chuckle and tear up. Inspired by real events from the life of writer and director Sean Anders, it’s heartwarming and hilarious in equal measure.
Excited? Same. And to make things even better, you can get access to a complimentary screening before its official release. Visit seeitfirst.com and enter the code GXV683X3 for your chance to attend one of these exclusive early screenings.
