There's a secret Harry Potter reference in the latest Beauty and the Beast clip

Beauty and the Beast

Did you catch it?

We love it when our favourite movies link up. For example, when Disney Pixar recently released a video that joined together all of their films, our lives were pretty much complete.

Fans of the Harry Potter franchise have got to be some of the most eagle-eyed out there. So it didn't take them to learn to spot a pretty significant link between the newly released Beauty and the Beast remake clip and the first Harry Potter movie.

While wandering through her village in the clip, Belle bumps into Monsier Jean, asking if he's forgotten anything. Jean answers: 'I believe I have. The problem is I can't remember what!'

This is VERY similar to something said by (the very forgetful) Neville Longbottom in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone when he receives his remembrall from his grandmother.

So it seems that Hermione's appearance isn't the only Harry Potter reference in the new film.

We wonder if there are any more ties to the wizarding world?
