Here's why the internet is angry at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Oh dear.
Oh dear.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are one of the most talked-about couples in the world, recently moving into their newly renovated Frogmore Cottage home with their newborn baby, Archie Harrison.
But while most fans are happy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, there are some who like to find fault with them, with the couple facing a constant onslaught of online abuse since making their relationship official.
From body shaming Meghan for losing her baby weight to mum shaming the Duchess for how she carries her child, the criticism was reaching breaking point, with recent news about their holiday plans pushing criticism to a new level.
It was reported this week by The Daily Star that Harry and Meghan had been on holiday in secret, getting a private jet to Ibiza just after Meghan’s birthday.
But it wasn’t their destination choice that divided the public but rather their decision to opt for a private jet, something that caused users to post about online.
‘Its a joke them using planes like we use cars and lecturing us on climate change,’ one user posted to Twitter. ‘To them we are peasants that should cut back so they can indulge in their gold plated lifestyles.’
