Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are almost parents, as it has been announced that the Duchess of Sussex is in early stages of labour.
Yes. Baby Sussex is officially on the way.
According to Kensington Palace, Meghan reportedly went into labour in the early hours of Monday morning, with Prince Harry there with her.
It is thought that her mother Doria Ragland is also present.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stated that they will spend some quality time with their newborn before announcing the news to the world.
‘The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby,’ the couple announced earlier this month in a statement.
‘Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private,’ the statement continued. ‘The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.’
It is thought however, that the couple will now introduce Baby Sussex to the world shortly after the birth before laying low for a while.
Good luck to the Duchess and Duke of Sussex.
We’re looking forward to meeting you Baby Sussex!
