Wait, what?

Meghan Markle has had a trying time in the run and up and since becoming a Duchess, and unfortunately for the former actress, it all seems to surround one side of her family – the Markles.

There was the ongoing drama of whether her father, Thomas Markle, would be walking her down the aisle, not to mention his staged photographs for the press, and appearance on Good Morning Britain, even talking about Princess Diana in some controversial comments this week. Then of course there is her nephew, Tyler Dooley, who despite being estranged from the 36-year-old, named his Cannabis business after her and just landed himself an MTV show for the royal connection.

And of course, let’s not forget estranged half-sister Samantha Grant, who has been publicly badmouthing the Duchess, threatening to go on Celebrity Big Brother and even calling Chrissy Teigen ‘a pudgy airhead’ when she stood up for Meghan.

In short, Meghan has had a rough ride, but luckily there has been one family member who has been by her side since the beginning, her mother, Doria Ragland.

Meghan lived with her mother in LA during her childhood, following her parents’ divorce, but now Doria is reportedly coming to live with her daughter.

That’s right. According to The Express, the 61-year-old yoga instructor is ‘moving to the UK’, quitting her job as a social worker in May in preparation for the big move.

‘She is getting ready to move to London. I think she will be going as soon as possible’ an unnamed LA source reportedly told The Express.

‘She hasn’t been staying at her house for a while now. She has only visited the house very occasionally and when she is there she has had a security guard with her.’

The source continued: ‘She is fiercely loyal to Meghan and would never betray her like the rest of them. They are so close.’

The reported move is no surprise with the two women known to be extremely close.

‘I’ll still find so much solace in her support,’ Meghan explained of her mother in an open essay for Glamour. ‘That duality coexists the same way it would in a best friend.’

We’re thrilled for Meghan that her mother might be moving over!
