Meghan Markle needs to go through this rite of passage to marry Prince Harry
And there’s not that much time…

Meghan Markle has quit her job on Suits, relocated to London, and even left one of her beloved pups behind in North America in order to live with her fiancé Prince Harry, and now she’ll be making another change before she marries him in May 2018.
Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, the actress will join the Church of England.
According to Kensington Palace, Markle will be baptised and confirmed into the Church of England, of which Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth is the head. Her future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, had already been baptised into the church before getting engaged to Prince William, but she was confirmed weeks prior to her wedding in April 2011. Middleton’s service was private, which is likely how Markle will choose to receive her rites as well.
Markle attended a Catholic high school, but she was not raised Catholic: According to People, her father is Episcopalian and her mother is Protestant.
So what exactly do these sacraments entail? According to the Church of England, adult baptisms can involve water being poured on your head at the font, or even being fully immersed in water in a special pool.
