And we have FOMO.

Jennifer Lopez is one of the most talked about women in the world, from her iconic red carpet looks and sassy remarks to her relationship with American baseball player Alex Rodriguez (A Rod).

But it wasn’t her love life that got the attention of the world this week. Instead, all eyes were on the Jenny From The Block singer as she reigned in her 49th birthday.

Yes. J-Lo is now 49 - and we want to bottle her genes and apply them to our faces every night.

And J-Lo being J-Lo, she celebrated in style, whisking her friends and family off to the Bahamas for a luxurious week, with her twins, Esme and Maximilian, and A Rod’s daughters, Ella and Natasha, all present for the festivities.

‘Current birthday situation… yup,’ captioned a snap of the bikini-clad birthday girl, surrounded by friends and family - all holding bottles of Champagne.

And J-Lo wasn’t the only one to post about the trip, with boyfriend A Rod taking to Instagram to post a tribute to his other half.

‘When we were kids, birthdays were exciting because it was all about the gifts we should be getting,’ he posted. ‘A new bat, dance shoes, maybe a new CD (yes I’m old!). I see firsthand how that’s changed for Jennifer, and how she’s found joy in sharing with others.’

He continued: ‘For someone who has been about giving everything she has 365 days a year – to our children, our families, the world – I hope today, we can give you all the happiness you deserve. I love you mucho Macha 13.’

So a trip to the Bahamas with all of her loved ones for her 49th birthday and a romantic tribute from A-Rod - what is she going to do when she turns 50?
