Ribbon eyeliner is taking Instagram by storm
Move over cat-eye flicks
Move over cat-eye flicks
Imagine a world without Instagram. We wouldn't get insights into the lives of our favourite celebrities, we wouldn't be able to brag when we ended up in a VIP party or better yet, on P.Diddy's yacht during one of his soirees and we would be lost for new (and occasionally crazy) beauty trends.
With so many creative brains in the world sharing their daily thoughts through images, it's no surprise that there's a new make-up craze almost daily on Instagram - and we couldn't be happier about it.

Let's just keep in mind that some of us can barely blend a smokey eye, let alone create something that looks this intricate, and yet, there seems to be a plethora of steady-handed artists drawing these around their perfectly formed cat-eye flicks. Sorry, what? How?
First, you have to draw an impeccable line that flicks up at the end. And then, with multi-coloured liquid eyeliners, you have to paint lines that look like a corkscrew around the flick. No easy feat.
Here's hoping that someone comes up with a tattoo option...
