The Spice Girls dress up as wartime vixens for first comeback performance
THE SPICE GIRLS dressed up as wartime vixens for their first comeback performance last night. On stage at the Victoria’s Secrets lingerie show, the fivesome came on first in cream satin and army-issue green costumes, complete with leather gloves and jaunty little hats, and then in more glamorous full-length gowns.
Designed by Roberto Cavalli, the costumes were the talking point of the evening, which included two performances by the girls, new single Headlines and old favourite Stop.
‘It’s quite surreal, but everything has come flooding back, all of the songs, and being with each other and rehearsing together, it just feels very comfortable,’ Mel C told reporters, admitting the group were ‘nervous’ about getting up on stage again.
