And we can totally see why

There are certain wardrobe staples that every woman should own, like a white shirt, black blazer... or denim jacket, and Selena Gomez certainly knows it.

The singer has been regularly papped in the same denim jacket for the last few months and you won't believe where it's from. Where she could've gone designer, instead she went to one of our go-to shops: good old Toppers.

The MOTTO Fitted Borg Cropped Denim Jacket features a faux-shearling collar and cuffs, and has a mid-stone wash finish that goes with everything, as Selena has proven.

When out and about in LA, she styles it with skinny jeans and trainers, but on a fancier occasion like say, a gala, she'll team it with a floor-length gown (see below). Now if that's not versatile I don't know what is.

She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
