It’s official. Lady Gaga, she of the meat dress and crazy platform shoes, has gone back to basics. For Tiffany & Co no less.
The singer was unveiled as the new face of the iconic diamond brand, and we love her strikingly simple look.
One of the campaign images sees her perched on a film director’s chair with one of her beloved pet dogs, while another sees her checking herself out in the mirror.
Sporting a black jumper and strong eyebrows, there’s more than a little touch of Audrey Hepburn about her.
The images are a foretaste of a 60-second ad which will launch worldwide on Super Bowl Sunday, just before Gaga’s performance at half time.
It’s part of Tiffany’s long-standing Legendary Style campaign, which has previously featured Lupita Nyong’o and Elle Fanning.
This particular ad features the new Tiffany Hardwear collection, which launches in May.
Just when you thought Lady Gaga couldn’t surprise you any more…
