The supermodel made Fashion Week history, shooting a live video while walking the runway for Giles Deacon

Cara Delevingne doesn't play by the rules.

Instead of focusing on her perfect pout and fierce walk during the Giles Deacon on Monday, the model was focused on her iPhone screen. Sticking her tongue out for the camera, she let the video roll as she walked up and down the runway.

'It's about to happen. It's about to happen,' she says in the vid, which she promptly posted to Instagram. 'Oh my gosh! The first live video from the catwalk!'

The 21-year-old It Girl recorded a total of six Instagram videos during the show - and when she wasn't in selfie mode, she was still holding her bright-orange phone by her side.

We love that forward-thinking designers like Giles Deacon are incorporating more social media and instant streaming into their shows. It gives those of us who are stuck at a desk instead of perching in the FROW a chance to feel included in the action.

And since we'll probably (okay, definitely) never get to walk a runway, seeing the view from Cara's eyes is about as close as we'll get!
