The Inception star will not star in Gibson's upcoming Viking epic, following recent controversy
Things are going from bad to worse for Mel Gibson: after allegations hit the net that he’d assaulted the mother of his baby daughter, Oksana Grigorieva, he’s now lost the A-list leading man of his latest movie, Leonardo DiCaprio.
The Inception star has reportedly dropped out of Mel’s upcoming project a historical epic on the Vikings, which was yet to start filming.
When asked if Leo would still star in the movie, a source close to the actor told The Sun: ‘Not a chance. Leo has earned the right to pick and choose who he works with and Mel Gibson is not one of them.’
Meanwhile, Mel is still to publicly comment on the string of abusive telephone calls to his ex, that were recorded and released over the last month. It is reported that he is being investigated by social services, although his lawyers deny that he hit Grigorieva.
