Rihanna to get £7m if Brown hits her again
Chris Brown has vowed to pay Rihanna $10million (£7m) if he ‘as much as squeezes her arm in the wrong way,’ it has been reported.
It is also thought the R&B singer will appear with Rihanna on a variety of US chat shows in a bid to save his career.
The PR plan is apparently being called ‘Project Mea Culpa’ by his management team, as they plot to revive his ailing music career after the alleged assault on Rihanna last month.
A source said his management team were ‘trying to turn a bad situation into something good.’
The source said: ‘Obviously this is a public relations campaign, but it only will work if there’s genuine healing, contrition and a path to preventing future problems.
‘It’s another example of trying to turn a bad situation into something good where people can learn to change habits.’
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s producer Adonis Shropshire has revealed that the Umbrella singer has begun ‘easing’ herself back into work and is recording new material.
‘She’s really just easing back into it. Just a couple of ideas here and there over the last couple of weeks. It’s coming out good.
‘She’s really going in the same direction. She always brings her best efforts every time she steps into the stage or the studio. Her next album will eclipse what she’s done before, so it’s going to be hot.’
He added that Rihanna is slowly coming to terms with the alleged attack which left her with severe facial injuries.
‘She’s doing OK,’ he said. ‘I mean, of course with the situation, she’s all right.
‘You have to remember, she’s still a kid. With anybody in the world that goes through something, you have to bring yourself out of it. So I guess her refuge is her music, of course, as it should be.
‘Of course, there’s still remnants of whatever from time to time, but she’s definitely trying to move forward.’
