Amy Winehouse to spend Christmas alone as husband refused bail
AMY WINEHOUSE WILL be spending Christmas alone this year as her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was denied bail this weekend.
The troubled star watched on as her 25-year-old husband – who is charged with conspiracy involving alleged witness tampering – was ordered to stay behind bars until his 18 January court hearing. If the case goes to trial, the judge stated he was ‘pencilling in early June’.
Amy arrived at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday to support her drug addict husband, and was joined by Fielder-Civil’s younger brother and her mother-in-law.
As he entered the court, Fielder-Civil mouthed: ‘I love you,’ to his wife, asking: ‘Are you all right?’, to which she nodded.
After the ruling, Amy rebuffed the waiting press outside and jumped into a blacked-out car to prepare for her performance at Brixton Academy that night.
