It looks like Gwen Stefani is planning to launch her own cosmetics line

It's what we're waiting for (sorry)

It's what we're waiting for (sorry)

She's the OG red lipstick queen of the nineties, so it makes perfect sense that Gwen Stefani is taking steps to break into the beauty business on her own.

The No Doubt star has already dabbled in the beauty industry, including OPI and Urban Decay, as well as being the face of iconic beauty brands like Revlon.

But now it seems she's breaking into the beauty industry on her own, having registered potential brand names with the United States Patent and Trademark Office last month.

Four different name options were submitted: P8NT, P8NT Cosmetics, P8NT Beauty and P8NT by Gwen Stefani (presumably pronounced 'paint', or possibly 'patent').

Each application covers a huge range of beauty products under the P8NT moniker, including nail polish, eye shadow, lip and eye pencils, concealer, powder and more.

But that's not all – further on in the application 'retail store services' are mentioned, which could indicate that P8NT stores will be opening along with the new line, according to Allure.

One thing we're fairly sure will feature in her collection is (at least one) bold red lipstick.

Which name do you reckon will end up being the chosen one? Our money's on P8NT by Gwen Stefani...
