We barely knew what hit us when Lady Gaga sang and danced her way onto our screens in 2008. The outlandish starlet, born Stefani Germanotta, was raised in New York, gigging her way around the underground New York scene, before landing a recoding contract and moving to LA. And there began Gaga as we know her now. After a slow start with first track Just Dance, the release of Poker Face saw the singer's profile skyrocket, leading her to inherit several million 'little monster' fans in the process. Vocal on everything from Gay Rights to bullying, HIV and AIDS, the busy starlet continues to hit the headlines for her creative, and downright bonkers get-ups, and in 2012 - after selling hundreds of thousands of tickets, is to be seen kicking off an epic Born This Way Ball world tour. Phew!
