Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani teenager who survived a brutal attack by the Taliban in October 2012, is a force to be reckoned with. Her determination to keep fighting for education for all is truly inspirational.
Malala Yousafzai has refused to be silenced since she was shot in the head last year for speaking up for all girls’ right to an education in her native Pakistan.
On her 16th birthday in July, the awe-inspiring teen became the youngest person to ever give an address to the UN in New York, calling for worldwide access to education.
Speaking for the oppressed everywhere, Malala remained defiant, saying: ‘We will continue our journey to our destination of peace and education. No one can stop us. We will speak up for our rights and we will bring change to our voice.’ Talk about girl power.
