Brit beauties Daisy Lowe, Lily Cole and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley star in icconic Pirelli calendar.
The models starring in the new 2010 iconic Pirelli calendar were revealed last night at a star-studded launch in London, and were joined by Hollywood legend and 2007 Pirelli girl Sophia Loren.
The limited edition collector's calendar, which is in its 46th year has been shot by top fashion photographer Terry Richardson.
The girls staring in the calendar include British models Lily Cole, Rosie Huntinton-Whitely and Daisy Lowe, who said, 'It was quite freeing, being able to be naked for a week.'
The girls spent a week in Brazil being photographed in classic, sexy Pirelli poses - including one where Daisy Lowe and Australian model Catherine McNeil stand together covered only by a tyre. In one shot Lily Cole poses topless standing in a shallow pool and another where she is hugging a sloth, which admitedly doesn't sound sexy, but she's still smouldering!
Rather than an uber-glossy look like recent years, this year the calendar has a sexy, retro look. Terry Richardson said the shots are, 'A return to the natural, authentic atmospheres and images of the 60s and 70s where naturalness prevails over technique'. Orlando Bloom's girlfriend and Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr also poses for the calendar, alongside other international models, such as Abbey Lee Kershaw, Eniko Mihalik, Marloes Horst, Georgina Stojiljkovic, Gracie Carvalho and Ana Beatriz Barros.
