Not content with winning over the sporting world, having notched up an eye-watering 24 Grand Slams like it’s no big thing, Serena Williams has now turned her sights on the fashion world with her new clothing collection.

The tennis goddess launched her eponymous new fashion label, 'Serena', only yesterday, still fresh from her win against Kristyna Pliskova.

Her 12-piece collection was announced via Instagram and includes athleisure pieces spanning crop tops, underwear, denim, and some seriously cute satin joggers.

The collection is said to take inspo from the brand Juicy as Serena was obsessed with it growing up. And the price range is reasonable, as it was super important to her that the line wasn't too costly for fans-come-customers.

‘We want people to be able to actually look good and not have to overpay for it. That’s what I want to do. I want to make pieces that you look good in, that aren’t outrageously priced,’ she told Vogue.

Fashion design is clearly a big passion for the 36-year-old Williams who was once enrolled in the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. And the sportswoman has also previously worked with brands like Nike and Puma, creating new collaborative lines. But for this new project, she wanted something where she would have more creative oversight and so launched her own online shop.

'We had runway shows, but I was never full creative director. So here I am, complete creative director, down to the grommets that we use on the jeans, the tags, our packaging…'

‘You can see how it plays out different than anything else I’ve done,’ she told Glamour.

Serena, who recently gave birth to her daughter Alexis in September, is certainly no wall flower when it comes to her style choices. Just yesterday, she was pictured on court alla full catsuit like a total queen.

We would follow you anywhere Serena…
