She's been helping women find their perfect dress for over 20 years, but now Amanda Wakeley is offering brides her services as a wedding planner through her new iPhone app.
Anyone who's ever organised a wedding - or watched an American rom com - knows just how many things there are to plan, from the flowers to the cake to the all-important dress; but now help is at hand in the form of a new wedding planner app which allows brides-to-be to keep planning on the move.
A-list designer Amanda Wakeley has been helping women to find their perfect wedding dress for over ten years, but she found that more and more brides were seeking her advice about every other elements of their wedding too, leading her to create the Wedding Planner app.
The Wedding Planner by Amanda Wakeley offers brides the opportunity to organise everything for their wedding, from the guest list to the budget, providing practical advice and tips throughout every section.
‘The Wedding Planner is a completely comprehensive and utterly useful tool that I think will make all the difference for a busy bride organising her perfect wedding,' says Amanda.
Brides are given Amanda's personal recommendations for each section - such as Myla for lingerie and Smythson for those luxury invites - and each bride can then choose to follow Amanda's advice or can add in her own categories and favourite brands to mix with the help offered.
The clever app can also make appointments, share ideas and pictures with family and friends, remind you when payments are due - the list is as long as the wedding plan itself!

‘I am personally recommending my favourite bridal brands to the brides within the planner which I believe will help them in making some of those difficult decisions for the perfect big day,' she said.
To complement the arrival of the app, Amanda is also launching an online bridal boutique where brides can browse through six Sposa styles and a selection of dresses from the Ready to Wear collection, as well as several collections for bridesmaids and mothers.
The app costs £2.99 and is available to all brides, not just those getting married in Amanda Wakeley dresses.
