For serious summer chic, ride the waves in a two-piece or even a one-piece from the coolest brands around

Whether you're doing a staycation in the UK or sunning yourself in hotter climes, it's time to get bikini body ready and embrace your Spring Summer holiday vibe.

    Poppy Delevingne's Favourite Bikini Brand?

That will be Solid & Striped, our new favourite US bikini brand is our go-to when it comes to holiday dressing. Started in 2012 after the founder Isaac Ross took a trip to the Hamptons, the collection is full of USA references with its iconic flag colours running through the collection with a sporty edge. Safe to say we are obsessed. I mean if its helps us look like Ms Delevingne and her hot beach body, we'll give it a go.

Striped one piece around £100 at Net a Porter and Matches Fashion.

The Bikini Brand From Hawaii High-waisted bikinis that are stylish but sexy. Tick. Cut-out detailing but still supportive. Tick. Quirky colour combos and prints. Tick. Newcomer to the UK, Acacia Swimwear might just be our the best under-the-radar swimwear brand we've spotted this summer. Go to Beach Cafe for a selection of the Hawaii-based company's one-pieces, bikinis and beach cover-ups. We think we could be onto a winner here gals.

So, You Want A Bikini That Stands Out?

Mileti the swimwear brand that's officially on our radar was created in Singapore but is now available on UK shores. Drawing on street fashion influences, if you like to stand out from the crowd this is the brand for you. Prices start from £78 and Queen B Beyonce is a fan. Whats not to love?

The Fashion Bloggers Favourite Bikini Is Coming To The UK

We first spotted this LA brand on Instagram - it's not just for stalking the Beckhams you know. Every fashion blogger worth their salt has a Marysia selfie on their feed. Want to be in their gang? Never fear the UK now has its very own stockist in the form of Beach Flamingo – the fash-pack favourite website that has all your holiday wardrobe covered. Choose one of Marysia's signature scalloped pieces to join the cool-girl gang.

    The 70s Style One-Piece

Our favourite French brand Maje has partnered with NY swimwear brand Tooshie to get a 70s vibe. This one may not be a bikini, but it will take you from beach to bar. Just add a pair of ripped black denim shorts, throw on a kimono and it doubles as an outfit. You can thank me later. £269 at Maje.com

When Our Favourite Scarf Brand Starts Designing Bikinis This season sees Athena Procopiou move into bikinis and one-pieces to wear with her colourful kimonos. That's a perfect holiday outfit right there we say. Expect lots of bright and bold prints as seen on her kimonos and ready-to- wear collections but in a cool boho way. We love the low sexy back of the one-piece below and after seeing the rest of the collection we can safely say we now can't wait to go on holiday.

Who Does The Ultimate Crochet Bikini?

We'll tell you a little secret, it's Lisa Maree. Favoured by celebs such as Rihanna, Jessie Ware and the Kardashians, jump on board gals. The Aussie brand has branched out in the UK with their signature crochet styles at Beach Flamingo. How do you care for such a itsy bitsy teenie weenie bikini we hear you cry? Just remember to wash it in cold water and dry flat and you're good to go. Not for the faint-hearted but if you have the beach body for it, we say why not show it off.

Where Do I Get My High Waisted Bikini From?

Kate Spade is the answer. The NY brand has dived into the world of swim for the first time and the new collection doesn't disappoint. Think super-chic glamorous one pieces, high-waisted pants, oversized bows and gingham prints. When trying a high-waisted bikini style, make sure you go for one that has a high hipped cut to make legs appear longer.

The Stylish Bikini Brand Only Fashion Editors Know About Where do Fashion Editors actually shop? That will be Essentiel Antwerp – the insider brand that is on all the cool girls speed dial. For summer we can start stocking up on their bikinis too, not just in Belgium either. These stylish bikinis are available in the UK in their 'Essentiel Beach' collection. Look out for their quirky colour combos and halterneck styles. A halterneck flatters a pear shape - its shape helps to broaden shoulders which in turn balances out widr hips. Boom.

The Fun Printed Bikini Claudie Pierlot, the girly preppy Parisian brand, is launching its swimwear for the first time in the UK. In true Claudie Pierlot style it's full of quirky fun pieces that don't take themselves too seriously. Dolphin print bikini anyone? Not just bikinis though, the collection is also full of cute accessories. We have our eye on the quilted bum bag.

Dolphin print bikini, £135, at Claudie Pierlot

The Bikini To Wear In Ibiza Not only will you look the coolest girl on Benirras beach but with Lily & Lionel's hidden tummy control panels in the one-piece swimsuits, cutting-edge technology from Gottex and one-of-a-kind prints, you are winning all round. Wear on their own or with Lily & Lionel matching trousers and camis. Bikinis are £130 and one-piece swimsuits are £160.

The New Bikini Brand To Watch We are just putting it out there, but the Aussies get it right when it comes to bikinis – hello Seafolly, Jets and NLP – but they should watch out as there is a new up and coming label on the scene. #JustSayin. Bower from Australian fashion duo Fiona Ryn and Rupert Tapper has gone straight to our must-have list. The collection is full of sexy sport-inspired pieces – think classics but with a edge, whether it's a cross detail halterneck, super-low back on a one-piece or a update on the triangle bikni with a added extra thick band. Throw in luxury quick-drying fabrics with UV protection and its safe to say we are obsessed. Red bikini, £150, Bower

Where Do I Find The Ultimate Triangle Bikini In The UK? Vitamin A at Beach Cafe is your answer. Created by a Cali gal with fans like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba, we are jumping on board. Vitamin A favours the sexy triangle shape in their designs and we like it. Look out for multi-strap details and crisscross front designs. But it's not all sexy and stylish designs, there are also innovative matte jersey fabrics to look out for, helping to create figure-flattering perfection. Boom.

Vitamin A Rothko bikini, £189, at Beach Cafe

When The Aussie Bikini Brand Comes To The UK...

The Aussie brand Zimmermann debuts their new collection full of swimwear treats. Look out for sexy cuts with peekaboo details, ruffles, one shoulder shapes and lace-up detail one-pieces. Our favourite has to be their hyper bonded asymmetric style below, £217, at Net a Porter, Harrods and Selfridges.
