The H&M x Anna Glover collab is basically Spring in a capsule

If you didn't get your hands on the H&M x Erdem collaboration, I feel for you, I really do. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel in the form of their new limited edition collection, designer by Anna Glover.

If Spring came in the form of clothes, it would basically look like this H&M collection: a range of gorgeous clothes covered in colourful floral and botanical-based prints by the London-based award-winning designer, who usually specialises in bespoke wallpaper, textiles and digital surface design.

Having had a little preview of the collection (which launches 12th of April, so be patient), I can tell you it's as flattering as it gets. Think flowy silhouettes with wide sleeves, floaty midi skirts and a jumpsuit floral purple jumpsuit that's all you need to transition into the new season.

If you're open to investing in a few pieces (though with prices starting at £12.99, you won't need much convincing), then I suggest you have fun with your look and mix and match the different hues and prints, which go from pastel yellow to vivid purple and monochrome. The collection lends itself to this really well, though of course you can go for the head-to-toe look too.

As the clothes are statements in themselves, make sure you keep the rest of your outfit paired back, favouring muted accessories and minimal jewellery.

The collection launches on 12th April, so elbows at the ready, because this one is sure to be a sell-out.

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
