Six months on from when it opened, The Gilda's Tryst store in Duke of York Square, London is a haven of peace in the midst London's West End.

Launched by best friends Amanda Waterstone and Shireen Jayyusi, boutique Gilda's Tryst is the perfect place for last minute Christmas stocking fillers and luxury gifts. Ninety per cent of the jewellery and handbags are produced by the girls themselves.

The store offers a combination of styles from finer classic pieces to bolder costume styles. We also love the fabulous ‘Thou Shalt Covet' Christmas card - customers fill it in, noting down their desired gift, when they want to receive it, what it's for (e.g. Christmas or a birthday) and who they hope will buy it for them, leaving their details. The Gilda girls then get in touch with this person and organise.
