The European premiere for Star Wars: The Force Awakens took place in London's Leicester Square last night - and spirits were definitely high.
Stars of the film Daisy Ridley and John Boyega looked like they were having a blast - taking time to sign autographs for fans, many of whom were dressed up in full Star Wars regalia and wielding light sabres - and larking around on the red carpet with the stormtroopers who were on hand for photo opportunities.
Lupita Nyong'o looked stunning in a metallic black dress and blue lipstick as did Daisy Ridley and Gwendoline Christie who also sported sophisticated floor-length dresses to walk the red carpet in.
Also in attendance from the cast was Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver who delighted fans by walking the red carpet alongside many of the original Star Wars cast such as Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford. Ford is making an appearance in this movie playing the same character (Hans Solo) he did back in the 1977 film, and Hamill has reprised his role of Luke Skywalker this time around.
Celebrity fans of the film who also walked the red carpet alongside the cast included Felicity Jones and Benedict Cumberbatch as well as Romeo and Brooklyn Beckham who were looking dapper in matching black jeans and jackets. Noel Gallagher also attended the premiere with his family.
The all-star turnout in London follows the glitz and glamour of the Los Angeles premiere on December 15th when leading lady Daisy Ridley looked overwhelmingly beautiful in a white dress, retro curled hair and natural make-up, while one of the movie's lead actors, John Boyega, looked dapper in a shiny purple suit and leather glove.

Newly married couple Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello made their first red carpet appearance as man and wife, with Sofia opting for a tight black dress and Princess Leia-style buns in her hair.
Lupita Nyong'o also paid homage to the famous actress with her hairstyle choice, displaying several tight buns to go with her showstopping sequinned gown.
Also paying tribute to the franchise, but going the extra mile, was Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who stepped out in full Yoda costume, green ears, face paint and all. We would say this is one look we're going to copy, but perhaps we'll wait till Halloween.
Sofia and Joe weren't the only couple to act all loved-up on the red carpet - Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford looked happy together as they posed for photos, while Modern Family star Sarah Hyland and her new boyfriend Dominic Sherwood couldn't help snogging for the cameras.
Adam Driver, who attended with his wife of two years, Joanne Tucker, also looked rather close to his Star Wars co-star Oscar Isaac - the bromance is real.
Long white dresses were clearly the order of the night, as Gwendoline Christie stepped out in a gorgeous, multi-faceted gown, and Jaime King also opted for a short white dress with dramatic back detail.
