She's an inspiration

When bride-to-be Tetteh posted a cute picture of herself and her fiancé on Instagram, she wasn't expecting to make anyone angry, she just wanted to get excited about her wedding.

Unfortunately, fat-shamers flocked to the photo to make nasty comments about the way that Tetteh looks. Some comments were veiled as 'concern' for her 'health', whereas others were just plain cruel. Luckily, neither Tetteh nor her fiancé Kojo were bothered by the jibes.

Tetteh posted another gorgeous picture of herself with the caption: 'Still confident... your rubbish comments ain't ruining my happiness... thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes, am honored.'

Tetteh's soon to be husband, Kojo told a Ghanaian news site: ‘I am so proud of my woman and I don’t care about what anybody says out there. I normally post pictures of me and my girlfriend all the time and I wasn’t expecting this at all. I just posted it, we did a photo shoot and I thought it was nice so I posted it. To me, I have always been a fan of plus size women and I am so proud of my woman and I don’t care about what anybody says out there.I n every society there are people who will try to discourage you from things that you seek to do but I am not bothered at all. And I don’t regret posting those pictures on Facebook.'

Well said, Kojo, we couldn't agree more. Check out all of Tetteh's amazing posts below.
