Think about your personal brand

Be yourself. Show the community - and potential employers – your unique style through the lens of your Instagram posts. You can use our creative features to turn the everyday into something inspiring and compelling.

Share your passions

People come to Instagram to connect around the things they’re passionate about. If you want to be a chef, share food you’ve made or if you want to get into fashion, then share looks you’ve created or that inspire you. There are thousands of people who have been able to turn their passion into their livelihoods by sharing what they do on Instagram.

Connect with people and brands in the industry

Stay ahead of the latest trends, discover up and coming influencers and be an active part of the community. You can also direct message people on Instagram. We often hear of people who have got internships or built their network by making initial contact on Instagram.

Follow the companies you’re interviewing with

This helps you get to know the company and what they stand for before you ever walk in the door. And it should get you some bonus points during the interview!

Experiment and have fun

Don’t overthink it. Instagram Stories disappear after 24 hours and you can quickly make edits on Instagram, so it’s easy to experiment and make changes.
