This is going to change the way you view camping
Why go
If you hate camping but still love to experience nature, then we might have find the perfect compromise for you. Introducing Experience Freedom, which offers a range of glamping options across the UK – including these brand new glamping pods in Brighton. The peaceful site is located just two miles from the lively centre of town and a mere 15-minute stroll from the marina.
The room
This is where it gets fancy. The pods couldn't be further from the tent experience. Each one features a comfortable double bed, a small sofa bed (and a child’s bunk-style bed) with bedding, and en-suite bathroom facilities.
You can also cook your own meals if you wish, as the pods come with a small kitchen, kitted out with simple equipment, utensils & tableware. And if you're staying for a few days, you won't miss out on your home comforts either, as there are also a TV, DVD player, WIFI and Bluetooth speakers.
But the best bit, especially in summer, is the outdoor decking area. Each pod comes with an outside table with four chairs and a parasol, plus a brick BBQ station (one disposable BBQ is included and more can be purchased on site) and a box for muddy shoes. Perfect to enjoy a glass of rose at sunset.
You really must
Whilst it's tempting to stay within the green haven of the park, it would be a shame not to enjoy what Brighton has to offer for the day. Invest in a Brighton Explorer Pass, that'll you will give you access to several attractions such as the i360, which will give you unbeatable panoramic views of the city.
Thrill-seekers can also hop onto the adorable vintage electric rail train, and hop off at the Brighton Zip Wire, which is an impressive 300 metres long and starts from a 24 metre height.
Food-wise, you're spoiled for choice with the hundreds of cafes and bars the city has to offer. However, plant-based Japanese restaurant Moshimo is well worth the detour, as is Brighton Beach Club for a relaxed brunch or lunch.
