This is how to find out how many people you've indirectly slept with

Delightful.

Delightful.

It's Wednesday night, your Sunday night Tinder-swiping has turned into a fruitful mid-week hook-up and you're bringing a new meaning to hump day.

But what do you usually think about before sex with someone new? Is it this one thing that scares most people about a new bed buddy? Is it quietly hoping they'll get a bit 50 Shades Darker with this sold-out sex toy?

Or is it how many people you'll be indirectly sleeping with when you get down to it with this person?

Chances are the last one won't really take up too much of your headspace. However, after seeing this sex calculator, it might be something to consider.

Lloyds Pharmacy created this love calculator with a twist in order to determine how many people you've indirectly shared your genitals with. It works out how many partners your partners may have had, and your partner's partners partners, and so on and so forth, in order to calculate your 'figure'.

And though your final number might be in the millions, its purpose is not to shame anyone. It doesn't matter whether you've slept with 1 or 10 or 100 people - the tool is instead there to highlight the risks of practicing unsafe sex, and to encourage people to get regular STI-testing. Because no one wants super gonnorrhea, amirite? So it's maybe worth investing in a smart condom after all.

'This calculator is not a diagnostic tool, but it highlights how exposed you can be to STIs and how this risk increases with each new parter,' the website says.

'It's not just your direct partners that you have to worry about.'
