Rachel Khoo has joined up with luxury hotel and members club The Ned to bring her latest Parisian offering to the UK. Cafe Sou will bring a taste of Paris to London, serving up breakfast and lunch inspired by Little Paris Kitchen: Cooking with Rachel Khoo.
So what can you expect? Well, freshly brewed coffee and classic French pastries for a start. Alongside French omelettes made with the likes of jambn cru (cured ham) and saumon fume (smoked salmon). And of course it wouldn't be a Parisian cafe without the baguettes - fill them up with jambon, chicken and avocado, walnut pate or tuna and cucumber. Or for a lighter lunch, choose one of the salads - asparagus and green beans, or puy lentils, kale, walnuts and blue cheese.
The Ned is a name synonymous with luxury (post-lunch dip in the rooftop pool overlooking St. Paul's anyone?) but do not be disheartened - the prices at Cafe Sou are entirely pedestrian, starting at £3-£7 for breakfast and £7 - £16 per person for lunch. Plus there's a range of French wines and evening cheese and charcuterie boards for later on. Tres bon!
