This is the thing you shouldn't be eating before sex
(And we're all guilty of having it)

(And we're all guilty of having it)
It doesn't matter how long you've been with someone, no one wants to bring any bad smells to the bedroom. So, surely it makes sense to want your breath to smell fresh before things get hot and heavy, right?
Wrong.
Apparently, chewing gum is a definite no no before having sex (and we already know what you should be eating after having sex). Why, you ask? Well, it's because the actual act of chewing, for one, leads to you swallowing air so you end up feeling bloated - which I think we can all agree isn't sexy.
And then, because you're chewing without swallowing, your stomach assumes food is on its way so it'll start to release digestive stomach enzymes which will then give you gastric problems like wind. (Oh dear.)
OK, so then, you might think having a mint is your loophole but guess what? Peppermint actually represses testosterone and that in turn, lowers your libido.
So, um, pass the spearmint then?
