With fashion month already underway, we thought we’d better acquaint you with the newest and biggest faces of 2014. Move over Karlie, Cara and Jourdan, there are some new girls in town.

    1. Georgia Taylor

Christopher Kane singled out 16-year-old Georgia Taylor from Kent as his 'It' girl last summer. Having been the fit model in the run up to the shows, Christopher Kane then asked Georgia to open his show in September. Georgia’s creamy skin, piercing blue eyes and laid-back attitude are obviously serving her well; she went on to walk for Céline and Alexander McQueen. Did we mention she’s an actress and a singer, too?

    2. Sarah Douglas

Forget Sarah, she'd rather you call her Doug - and remember the name, because this girl is sure to go stratospheric. She walked her first show for Hedi Slimane, who chose the 18-year-old resident of North Tyneside to walk for Saint Laurent. Doug has something of a mod-look about her, with her messy crop cut, kohled eyes and penchant for masculine tailoring. She is currently completing her first year at Royal Holloway studying Psychology, but since signing to Premier, we think she may find her time in high demand for 2014.

    3. Laura O’Grady

19-year-old Laura O’Grady might have the luck of the Irish on her side, but she’s a grafter too, having modelled since the age of 15 . Baby-faced, with a fierce bob and elfy ears, Laura’s look is unconventional, idiosyncratic and captivating; maybe that’s why she walked exclusively for Saint Laurent SS14. She’s also giving Cara a seriously good run for her money in the eyebrow stakes.

    4. Sasha Luss

The newly ice-blond Russian queen of couture, who's gone from mousey-locked to platinum princess, will be sure to reign over the catwalks of 2014. The bleach seemed to do the trick for Sasha last season - she walked for Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Valentino, Stella McCartney, Kenzo, Acne… we could go on.

Known as Bambi to her friends, Matilda was discovered while out shopping with friends. Everyone was asking: ‘who’s that girl?’ after she opened the Burberry show in September and she’s already been shot by model-maker Mario Testino. You’ll be seeing her on a billboard near you, very, very soon.

    6. Betty Adewole

As Cher from Clueless once said: 'she’s a total Betty’. Enter Hackney born and bred Betty Adewole, whose street-wise swagger caught the eyes of zeitgeist-leaders Miuccia Prada, Stella McCartney and Tom Ford. She’s already being compared to Naomi Campbell, having been similarly scouted aged 15. Marvel at her facial symmetry in Tom Ford’s SS14 beauty campaign. We would do terrible things for cheekbones like that.

    7. Brogan Loftus

Yes, that is her real name, and she’s out of this world good-looking. The Yorkshire-born Brogan is gorgeous with sandy hair and large green eyes, she’s also just under six foot. She snagged one of the most coveted of all catwalk appearances, opening for Céline. A brilliant way to debut a new and unique face.

    8. Malaika Firth

Kenyan-born Londoner Malaika Firth made headlines when she cast as the first black model in a Prada campaign for almost twenty years. Her first show season was major. She closed and opened for Valentino. Enough said. In November 2013 she became an angel, well sort of, by walking in the Victoria’s Secret show. Her mother suggested she try modelling after watching the television programme The Model Agency - proof you should always listen to your parents.

    9. Leomie Anderson

Which leads us to Leomie, who starred in The Model Agency as the newbie face on the scene. The cult TV show aired in 2011, skip forward to 2014 and Leomie has modelled for Tom Ford, Chloe, Giorgio Armani, Preen, Jeremy Scott, Byblos, Pucci and Moncler. She is writes a pretty cool blog, crackedchinacup.com, which gives an insight into backstage life as well as very cute DIY projects that Leomie talks you through. Whilst doing the New York shows Leomie lived with eleven other models. Her dream? To be on the cover of Italian Vogue. We don’t think she’ll have to wait very long.

    10 . Anna Ewers

That chick in the sink, in the Alexander Wang campaign, wearing THAT Parental Advisory jumper? Yep, that’s Anna. Of German decent, Anna is the ultimate blonde-bombshell with bleached brows and Brigitte Bardot complexion. Claudia Schiffer, eat your heart out.
