Primark's new Limited Edition Collection is chic AF

If you're looking for something a little less cutesie than Primark's Disney range (though those Christmas jumpers are pretty amazing), then you're going be be very into the new Limited Edition Collection, which is inspired by dark romance - Lady Gaga eat your heart out.

The autumn/winter collection, out now, basically has all the piece you're going to want for party season, from puff sleeve tops to lace dresses, all with a hint of gothic romanticism, though you can style it all in a wearable way.

You might want to, say, wear chunky black boots with a feminine sequin blazer, or a red rose print organza blouse with matching ethereal skirt, layered with paired back knits or a PU trench coat.

The bow chiffon blouse will also smart but casual paired with some jeans and dad trainers. The collection also features accessories such as bejewelled hairbands, velvet pouches and crossbody messenger bags. It's a *slightly* higher price point as it's a premium range, with the most expensive piece retailing at£50.

You can shop it now in a selection of stores, but you might want to call ahead to avoid disappointment.

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
