Could Isabel Marant be any chicer right now? Unlikely.
Her spring/summer collection was a sell-out success the day it hit net-a-porter last month, last season's studded ankle boots are now trading hands for triple their price on eBay, a standalone store opens in Soho any day now, and there isn't a fashion editor worth her front-row ticket who hasn't got their name on the wait list for her Dana boots.
Expectations, then, were high for this afternoon's show for which yours truly stood shivering in the cold for half an hour just to ensure a good seat.
So what does Paris' worst kept secret have in store for the coming season?
Two parts Grease Pink Ladies, one part fellow Parisian fashion Balmain and a sprinkling of Kate Moss cool, that's what.
With her models sporting swinging high pony tails and shimmering chandelier earrings, she sent them strutting down the runway wearing cropped skinnies and mid-heel pointy pumps, sharp-shouldered leather jackets and sequinned leggings, silver lamé party dresses and leather-sleeved baseball jackets, mohair jumpers and little wrap skirts.
