From Ciara's blunt fringe to Jessica Alba's creative top knot, these are the best hair and make-up looks from the Billboard Awards 2016
There s something about a music awards red carpet. Each year we wait with baited breath to see who will be most creative with their look and who will completely unleash their wild side - and the Billboard Music Awards 2016 were no different. And like every year before it, this one didn t disappoint, showcasing amazing top knots, fabulous fringes, graphic lids and matching lipstick and eyeshadow.
Setting the stakes high was Ciara, who proved that an hour in the stylist s chair isn t needed to look effortlessly chic. Her long hair was simply pulled back into a chic loop-knot, allowing her heavy bangs to take centre stage creating the perfect face-framing tendrils to show off her glowing complexion and subtle smokey eyes.
Zendaya, meanwhile, stepped out with a super sleek style (she recently rocked an ace bowl cut at the Met Gala), complemented by soft pink, tonal make-up to suit her dusty pink two-piece ensemble, while Keke Palmer totally blew us away, managing to pull off the sexy latex look on the red carpet and combined two favourite looks of the night a top knot and blunt fringe teaming her partly shaved do with a plum lipstick and matching eyeshadow.
Also on the scene was the ever beautiful, Mila Kunis, who proved that a little bit of eye shadow can go a long way, adding a touch of metallic lilac to her lids for a soft-yet-modern look and Jessica Alba, who left her staple romantic make-up and do at home, unleashing her inner rock chick with a sharp top knot and royal blue graphic eye all balanced perfectly with a delicate ear cuff.
