The fashion director is set to design an accessories line for the high street chain

Said to be an expression of the fashion icon’s ‘taste for ornamentation,’ the collection will launch on October 4 in 140 stores worldwide and online.

Speaking about the collection which features jewellery, sunglasses, shoes and bags, Anna Dello Russo said: ‘I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist I know accessories are essential: it is the personal touch to any outfit. With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day.’

Style icon Anna Dello Russo follows a string of high profile fashion names who have all collaborated on lines with the Swedish high chain including Karl Lagerfeld, Alber Elbaz from Lanvin, Donatella Versace and Consuelo Castiglioni from Marni.

Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M described Anna’s collection as ‘a celebration of excess, fantasy and decoration.’
