Kate Middleton indulged in a spot of interiors shopping over the weekend at a host of antique shops in Holt and Fakenham in north Norfolk. And with two new properties to furnish she’s got a big job on her hands so it’s just as well she enlisted a group of friends to join her on the spree.

KATE MIDDLETON TO VISIT HARRY POTTER EXHIBITION

The Daily Mail report the Duchess of Cambridge headed to Mews Antique Emporium that specialises in furniture, books and collectables. The royal reportedly spent 30 minutes scouring the shelves but couldn’t find anything she wanted.

A friend told the newspaper: ‘Kate has good taste but she prefers a more contemporary style.’ While a spokesperson for the shop confirmed her attendance saying: ‘The Duchess looked radiant and well. She was happy to mingle with other customers and security was very low key.

‘No purchases were made by the Duchess, although some were made by her friends.’

Kate Middleton stopped in two towns near to Anmer House on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate, where it’s believed her and Prince William will move to once their baby is born. The couple’s London base at Kensington Palace is also being renovated so the Duchess will have a lot of interior designing to do.

Sounds like a lot of fun!
