The Duchess of Cambridge reigns with 91% of the vote
Congratulations are in order for Kate Middleton who has been crowned ‘Hat Person of the Year’ by the Headwear Association.
Style icon Kate received an overwhelming 91% of the vote in an online poll, beating Rachel Zoe (4%), Ne-Yo (2%), Justin Timberlake (1%), Bruno Mars (1%) and Charlie Sheen (1%).
The Duchess of Cambridge is the third star to be awarded the title, previous winners include Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt, by the California-based association, which was founded in 1908 with the intention of promoting hat wear.
The 30-year-old Royal has the ability to clear the high-street rails and has the power to spark a fashion stampede by wearing something once.
Hats off to you Kate, your sartorial selections are stunning!
