This £100 blogger-approved coat is selling out fast

Not that it's cold enough to wear warm clothes without sweating on the tube, it's the perfect time to consider updating your winter coat game. And as per, Instagram is a good place to start your search.

Which is how I noticed that quite a few bloggers are loving a £100 check next coat that is so on trend for autumn/winter 2018. The tan windowpane coat comes courtesy of next, and is priced at a reasonable £98.

It has been spotted on the likes of Bella and Bunty, Sarah from We Are Twinset and Samio amongst others, and I can see why it's been so popular.

Firs toff, you'll never go wrong with a tan coat, but the minimal check pattern adds that fashion-forward touch, plus it's a little oversized, which is flattering and also allows for extra layers underneath. In fact, I'd recommend getting it a size up.

Wear it with brown corduroy trousers and trainers at the weekend, and with a knitted skirt and snake print ankle boots during the week.

Plus the main thing is that it's still available, in both petite and regular sizes. Time to enjoy winter now.

She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
