Beyoncé chooses Gareth Pugh for new video

Beyonce's style transformation is showing no signs of slowing down, with the singer donning a full Gareth Pugh wardrobe for her latest video, Diva.

The singer chose Pugh's sculptural designs for two outfits during the MTV Europe Video Awards, and has obviously developed a style crush on the Brit designer, as she dons an array of his winter '08 and spring '09 pieces for her latest single.

A far cry from her previous wardrobe choices, the looks include an appliqué white jacket, some vertiginous monochrome platforms, and an armoured leather jacket, all typical of Pugh's signature futuristic style.

While many have criticised the Brit wunderkind for his unwearable garments, Beyoncé has embraced the conceptual pieces, working them into her edgier Sasha Fierce persona.

We can't wait to see what style choices she has in store for her forthcoming tour, which sees her collaborate with Thierry Mugler. The move marks the designer's long anticipated return to the fashion industry.
