Out in force at the Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons launch

Some of the world’s most stylish celebrities hit The Louvre yesterday for the launch of the Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons collaboration, and if their outfits are anything to go by, this season is ALL about leather.

Leading the leather brigade was Jennifer Aniston, who ditched her trademark LBD in favour of a sleek suit.

She made the look edgier thanks to a leather corset, and accessorised with Vuitton’s petite malle clutch - though perhaps Zara's corset bag would've been more appropriate in this case, but we'll let you decide.

Chloe Sevigny also looked on point as per, teaming her leather skirt with an oversized knit and green snake print ankle boots. We loved her statement earrings too.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Connelly toughened up a brocade dress with some black biker boots and kept warm with a faux fur shrug.

Taking a leaf out of her book, Michelle Williams donned the same pair of boots, with a pretty neglige-style dress is soft pink.

On the more classic side of the spectrum, we also had Miranda Kerr, who wore a tan leather mac from the new collection, paired with a suede belt.

While everyone else seemed to favour a black clutch bag, Miranda opted to have her petite malle in tan and black.

So, now you know how to wear your leather this spring… which look will you opt for?

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
