Sandra Bullock just revealed her love of a very controversial beauty practice
And she swears by it.
And she swears by it.
When Sandra Bullock made a recent appearance on The Ellen Show to promote her upcoming film Oceans 8, the 53-year-old actress ended up chatting to the talk show host about her favourite beauty practice - and it took a lot of people by surprise.
Her favourite rejuvenating treatment? The foreskin facial. Yes, really.
‘I call it the penis facial,’ she told the audience. ‘And when you see how good it is to your face, you too will run to your local facialist and say: “give me the penis.”’ Ellen, who was quick to joke that she ‘is never going to say that,’ urged Bullock to explain the unusual treatment.
‘It’s this way in which one forces through micro-needling – it’s a little roller, I think many of you know it. It pushes through the skin, ruptures the collagen and boosts it and you look like a burn victim for a day.’
When asked what it is she pushes into her skin, the actress started giving a dubious explanation about ‘an extraction from a piece of skin that came from a young person far, far away,’ before Ellen laughingly clarified: ‘It’s foreskin from a Korean baby. That’s what it is. Who comes up with that?’
Trying to justify her skincare regime, Bullock continued to explain that it’s not like she is lying there with little pieces all over her face. But Ellen couldn’t help but mock the treatment as she asked Sandra why she would you do it.

Good question, Ellen. The ‘foreskin facial,’ officially known as the Hollywood EGF Facial, is performed by New York based celebrity aesthetician Georgia Louise, who also treats Emma Stone, Katy Perry and Cate Blanchett – the latter has previously recommended the facial in interviews.
The five-step process comes with a £480 price tag and includes a cleanse, a chemical peel and a micro-needling wand, followed by a soothing face mask and the now infamous EGF serum that uses progenitor cells from Korean baby foreskin to help generate collagen and elastin.
Hmm we still might have to pass.
