The Burberry muse has appeared in her debut perfume ads for the luxury British label
She’s already the face of the ready-to-wear collections and regularly storms the catwalk for the London Fashion Week shows, and now Burberry muse Cara Delevingne has fronted her first fragrance campaign for the label.
The model-of-the-moment is the poster girl for the luxury brand’s latest addition to the Burberry Body Collection of scents, Tender – the first time she has shot ads for a perfume.
The images were taken by long-time Burberry collaborator Mario Testino beside the River Thames in London and show Cara lying on her side wearing a classic trench coat with the Houses of Parliament in the backdrop.

Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, said of the new campaign: ‘Burberry Body was always about creating something that captures all the different characteristics of the Burberry girl.’
He added: ‘With Body Tender, we wanted to explore and bring out the softer, more playful sides of her – capturing this light femininity in the scent as well as the campaign. Cara’s natural beauty and vibrant energy lit up alongside London’s magnificent architecture.’
The new scent is a lighter version of the Burberry Body fragrance and features a zesty mix of top notes of fresh lemon and crisp apple, English rose and white jasmine at the heart, and amber and musk for the soft base – all housed in a pretty pale pink bottle.
Cara has starred in Burberry campaigns since 2011 and has since been the face of the Burberry Beauty make-up collections. The Burberry Body Tender range will also feature a lightweight body lotion spray, with both products available to buy online from today, before hitting stores nationwide from 6th March.
