Yes it really is possible to hit the sunny isle for 24 hours and make it count
Marie Claire discovers the ultimate 24 hour escape in everyone's favourite Spanish island
Ibiza fans are always complaining that no holiday is ever long enough in Ibiza, but we beg to differ. We did 24 hours. Here's how its done...
We stayed at...
An affordable hotel right in the heart of the action - Playasol Hotel Bossa Flow - slap bang in the middle of Playa de'en Bossa. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and got to the hotel in just 15 minutes from the airport and to our delight discovered it was just a few minutes from the Islands' most famous clubs and bars. It's the location that really sets this place apart. It also sits on the longest stretch of white sand on the island and its pool bar is just lively enough without getting crazy during the day.
We ate at...
Globally renowned steakhouse, STK Ibiza. With branches everywhere from Miami to London, it opened in Ibiza last year - its first in Spain. Whether for lunch or dinner it serves up an array of high quality meat and fish offerings in a high-energy environment featuring live DJs and performers to start your night off with a bang. Situated in the Ibiza Corso Hotel & Spa at Marina Botafoch in Ibiza Town, overlooking the ocean, it's already a hot destination with the global jetset, so keep an eye out for celebrity fans including Eva Longoria, Nicole Scherzinger, and Tinie Tempah. Expect the highest quality USDA prime meat and a selection of 9 cuts including sirloin, rib eye, fillet, hanger, t-bone, New York strip and tomahawk using local ingredients.

The infamous Ocean Beach Ibiza which really is as crazy as its cracked up to be. With a staggering 600m swimming pool as its focal point, head to this daytime into evening club for breathtaking shows, sushi and great cocktails. Having hosted some of the island's best parties over the past five years, Ocean Beach Ibiza is a hot fave with fans include Ed Sheeran, Millie Mackintosh, Pixie Lott, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Now open for reservations for the summer season, get in quickly or the best tables and beds will be booked out till September. Party into the evening when the pool becomes the ultimate backdrop for parties and the live entertainment begins, including magicians, acrobats and the finest DJs. In ultimate style by Private Jet dahhling! Ok we know what you're thinking but it's not as astronomical as you might think if you've got a special occasion coming up in 2018. Check out Surfair, the world’s first all-you-can fly membership airline. If you're done with the long queues and drunk fellow passengers then this one really is for you. Kick off your experience with a glass of champagne in Luton's luxury lounge (in its very own airport next to the regular one). Then simply walk through a gate, onto your jet and depart within 20 minutes - another glass of fizz in hand. Its the attention to detail of the staff that make this truly unforgettable. Everyone is super attentive and the champagne and snacks onboard are obviously gratis! You even get to shake hands with the pilot before taking off and after setting foot back on the ground. The best bit though is jumping into your taxi right from the plane and clearing customs at the other end in ten minutes flat.
Let's go...
Playasol has double rooms from £150 per night. . Surfair flies to Ibiza from £650. To find out more about membership visit the website.
