Despite the unpredictable weather, when it comes to finding the hottest temporary fixtures this summer there's no doubt that London comes out on top.
Pop-up restaurants, bars and beaches will open all over the capital in the coming months, so if you're looking to experience 80s Miami, a Mediterranean terrace or even a slice of Rio's Olympic action you'll find it right here in the city.

Copacabana
What is it?
A Brazilian-style beach bar. Think London's Southbank meets the streets of Rio.
What's there?
85 tonnes of white sand, great music and delicious cocktails. If you'd like something to compliment your Caipirinhas, there's a South American-style food truck with spicy malagueta chicken and sweet potato fries. Perfect for after work drinks.

Brixton Beach Boulevard
What is it?
An 80s Miami-style beach on a rooftop in Brixton.
What's there?
Cult 80s films & sports screenings, day & night parties and DJ sets. Expect neon and glitter galore.

The Belvedere Spritz Library
What is it?
Brown's Hotel in Mayfair has collaborated with Belvedere Vodka to create a botanical, summer bar. Perfect if you're looking for a night of indulgence without the guilt.
What's there?
All natural, delicious & healthy cocktails alongside an exclusive menu of treats from Madeleine Shaw.
When?

Med Rooftops
What is it?
Gin Mare are kick starting the summer with the ultimate city escape. On-top of a secret Knightsbridge rooftop you'll find an exclusive party for foodies and gin lovers alike.
What's there?
A Mediterranean menu with an English twist created by celebrity chef Mark Hix and his team at Hix Restaurants and Searcys. Music provided by Jacob, resident DJ at Pacha Ibiza, will complement your summer rooftop cocktails.

John Lewis Rooftop Garden
What is it?
The rooftop of Oxford Street's John Lewis store has been transformed into a secret garden.
What's there?
The Dairy, Shotgun and Bob's Lobster will take it in turns to dish out their summer menus, alongside a selection of refreshing cocktails made from the garden's home-grown herbs. You'll also find a coffee bar on site for a quick mid-shopping-trip fix, and even a morning yoga class.

Pergola on the Roof
What is it?
A Mediterranean-style roof terrace on top of a Shepherd's Bush multi-storey.
What's there?
A selection of London's favourite restaurants have set up shop for the summer, including Patty & Bun, Salt Yard and Rabbit. If you're lucky enough to visit on a sunny day you'll feel like you've made it to Greece with the bright, white walls and huge hanging pergola.
When?

Proud Wonderland
What is it?
A trippy Alice In Wonderland-inspired summer hang out.
What's there?
To celebrate 150 years since the book's publication, all the best bits of Lewis Carroll's fantasy land have made their way to a Camden roof terrace. Join the Madhatter's tea party, for teapot cocktails and Wondershots.
When?

The Magic Roundabout
What is it?
An outdoor urban party space in the middle of Old Street Roundabout.
What's there?
Eats, beats and booze. Accessible only via a secret staircase, The Magic Roundabout plays host to top DJs and award-winning street food all the way through the summer.

Beach Rugby
What is it?
London's fourth annual beach rugby tournament in Finsbury Square.
What's there?
So much more than just hot rugby players and a buzzing atmosphere. Sugar Dumplin will supply the jerk chicken, Sharp's Brewery will be stocking up the bars accompanied by a Pimms tent and when the sun goes down everyone's invited to join the after party. Game on.

Pop Up Screens
What is it?
An alfresco cinema experience across London.
What's there?
From Anchorman to Star Wars to Pretty Woman, a stellar line up of films are on their way to parks across the city. BYO blankets and snacks or hire a directors chair and tuck in to the popcorn, beer and burgers available on-site.

The Institute of Light
What is it?
Hackney's London Fields introduce their newest collaborative space, a one-stop cultural hub with books, films and food.
What's there?
An art-house cinema, vinyl record store, coffee shop, bar and very East London crowd (we imagine). To celebrate the Rio Olympics, IOL have also teamed up with MargoCamilo to launch Rio Boteco - they're own take on a Brazilian 'corner shop pub' serving traditional tapas and street food.

Bloom Gin @ OXO Tower
What is it?
A gin lovers paradise on the 8th floor of the OXO Tower
