She's been the face of Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi for nearly a decade, so it's safe to say Irina Shayk knows a thing or two about underwear. We asked her to give us some of her rules (and no, she doesn't always match).
Mixing it up ‘I don’t think you should always match. Just have fun with it, you know? I love to mix black and white or grey and white, or throw in a bit of bright green lace under a top.’
My everyday set ‘The basic Intimissimi black bra and panties is a very comfortable set to travel in. It’s so light you literally feel like you’re wearing no bra.’
My motivational underwear ‘Sometimes when I wake up and go to the gym I put on the sexiest thong and I feel more motivated to go and work out.’
For off days... ‘I like to put on a black lace bra and a G-string – it makes me feel very sexy.’
For extra support... ‘I wear high-waisted panties which are so comfortable, and they pull my stomach in after having pasta for lunch.’

For a big red carpet event... ‘If I’m wearing a black dress I’ll put on something lacy with a little bit of detail that keeps everything in place. Sometimes for the red carpet I have to use tape but if I can I'll alwayw wear a bra.’
For a trip... ‘I’ll pack five sets – black, white, grey, dark blue and nude. That would include a push-up bra in case I do a bit of red carpet and maybe one extra red bra for a little fun!’
