Create amazing fashion shots every time with the help of this one-day photography workshop

Want to take your fashion blog to the next level? Here’s how you can create Insta-ready images that’ll get your follower numbers soaring…

Whether you love to take snaps from the front row at catwalk shows, or want your passion for street fashion to stand out, we all know that the quality of your photography can make or break a blog or Instagram feed. That’s why Marie Claire has teamed up with iconic camera company Fujifilm to offer eight fashion bloggers and social influencers the chance to take part in a one-off masterclass on Thursday 29 November.

Set in a cool studio location in Shoreditch, East London, this one-day workshop covers all the techniques you’ll need including shutter-speeds, aperture, ISO settings and much more. You’ll get the chance to use the latest Fujifilm camera and find out why it’s miles better than shooting on your mobile.

What you’ll learn on the day

  • How to work with flat-lays of clothes and accessories
  • Behind-the-scenes insight on photographing a styled fashion shoot
  • Ways to nail those edgy street-style shots

By the end of the session you’ll be creating perfect Insta-ready images – and the words ‘How do they make it look like that?’ will be a thing of the past.

On hand to offer their industry-honed assistance will be Marie Claire’s own Holly Rains and Sunil Makan – Holly oversees all the digital and social output and manages our celebrity content, having worked with the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Dakota Fanning, Renee Zellweger and Bella Hadid.

Sunil is Marie Claire’s associate editor and all round visual guru – who has worked on a number of high-profile video and cover shoots featuring a mix of up-and-coming models and A-list stars.

Also present on the day will be Fujifilm portrait and fashion photographer Jamie Stoker. Jamie has covered fashion weeks for clients such as Burberry, Dior, T – The New York Times Style Magazine and Vogue. When not backstage, he also shoots a range of portrait and fashion commissions for brands, magazines and agencies – as well as continuing his own personal work in his home city of London. He’ll be joined by celebrity and catwalk photography expert Kirstin Sinclair.

The whole team will give you an insight into their careers – and share valuable insider tips to help you make the most of your pictures.

To make sure you get as much attention as possible, we are limiting this event to just eight people. Each Fujifilm Masterclass ticket will cost £30 for a four-hour session, allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

At the end of it you’ll walk away with a free Fujifilm memory card so you can upload your images straightaway – and get those likes soaring through the roof.
