Just a week after going public with their relationship, it seemed Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux could already be headed for trouble. Despite the pair flaunting their couple status at an MTV Movie Awards after-party, Justin s ex-girlfriend - costume designer Heidi Bivens - confirmed she had only moved out of their home one week before, after Justin ended their 14-year relationship. Insiders have revealed Justin s ex was 'devastated' and 'blindsided' by the split, which was reportedly only made official after the actor started seeing Jen. They met when she was 20 years old and he 24, and yes, she just moved out of their home last weekend,' her spokesman confirmed at the time.
Spilling the beans
Private starlet Jennifer Aniston is not known for opening up on her love life. In fact she usually keeps decidedly quiet on the subject. But in June 2011 the famous Friend just couldn t help gushing about Justin Theroux, during an interview with Good Morning America. A baby bump?
Jen might have been dating Justin Theroux for less than a year, but by October 2011, engagement and pregnancy rumours had begun to circle, after the actress was spotted out with the tiniest rounded tummy - which fast became a 'bump'. Taking the unusual step of confronting the rumours head on, Jen told reporters at a press conference: 'Rumour number one: I am not planning to get married any time soon. 'I've been married once, and I don't know if I'll get married again. And rumour number two: no, we're not pregnant,' she added. 'It's just I quit smoking, so I've gained a couple of pounds.' Moving in
Jen and Justin don't mess around. Despite Jen rubbishing pregnancy and wedding rumours, by January 2012, the pair decided it was high time to share a home, and Jennifer Aniston promptly splashed out on a $21million mansion in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles. The plush pad, which is set in the foothills of the Santa Monica mountains, reportedly boasts four bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, unobstructed city and ocean views, a separate guest house, a pool, a vineyard and wine cellar and a cinema room. An engagement announcement
Less than a six weeks after their romantic mini-break to Paris, Jen and Justin had some rather exciting news to share. A publicist for the pair confirmed their engagement to People magazine, revealing the romantic screenwriter popped the question on his birthday with a glittering ring. 'It's a huge emerald-cut diamond,' one insider said of Jen's rock. 'It's a rectangle with tapered diamond baguettes on the sides. It's beautiful.' So will Jen finally get her happy ending?
